FOSSiBOT F7200
Portable Power Station
Portable battery power for temporary workspaces, selected tools and backup applications. Contact Harutto Solar for load assessment, configuration and a UAE supply quotation.
The F7200 is designed and manufactured by FOSSiBOT. Harutto Solar supplies it in the UAE and specifies the configuration around your load. All specifications on this page are published by the manufacturer.
Manufacturer-published specifications
Published by FOSSiBOT. These are not Harutto Solar measurements — the unit has been ordered and has not yet been received, inspected or tested by us.
Not yet published: the regional variant, and with it the voltage, frequency, socket type and individual outlet ratings. The manufacturer offers more than one regional configuration, and we will confirm which one is being supplied before quoting those details. Price, availability, delivery time, warranty terms and any UAE approvals are confirmed at enquiry, not published here.
What actually determines runtime
A stated battery capacity is not a number of hours. How long this unit runs your equipment depends on the factors below, which is why Harutto Solar assesses the load before quoting rather than repeating a headline figure.
Connected load
The continuous draw of everything switched on at once. Two tools rated the same on the label can behave very differently in use.
Starting demand
Motors, compressors and pumps draw a large inrush current at start-up. Sizing to the running figure alone is the most common reason a battery system disappoints on site.
Conversion losses
Energy is lost converting DC to AC. Usable output is always below the nominal battery capacity, and the gap widens at low and very high loads.
Temperature
Capacity and charging behaviour change with temperature. The manufacturer publishes a 40°C ceiling for both operation and charging, which matters in UAE conditions.
Battery condition
Capacity declines with cycles and age. The manufacturer quotes 6,500 cycles to 80% of rated capacity — meaning the same unit does less work later in its life.
Recharge opportunity
Whether you can recharge between uses, and from what source, often matters more than the size of the battery itself.
Harutto Solar does not quote fixed runtime hours or offer this unit as whole-site backup. Tell us what has to run and for how long, and we will tell you whether this unit fits.
A note on UAE conditions
The manufacturer publishes an operating range of −10°C to 40°C and a charging range of 0°C to 40°C. UAE summer ambient temperatures routinely exceed 40°C, and the air inside a parked vehicle, a container or an unventilated store goes considerably higher than that.
This unit is therefore intended for shaded, ventilated or climate-controlled placement. We would rather tell you that before you buy than after. If your application is continuous outdoor duty in peak summer, a portable power station is the wrong product category and we will say so.
For sustained outdoor and remote-site power, see containerised hybrid power and off-grid solar systems, which are specified separately for that duty.
Construction sites and survey crews
The application Harutto Solar is bringing this unit in for is keeping site equipment charged where there is no supply yet, or no supply where the crew is working. On a new plot, a road alignment or a site still in enabling works, that usually means running an extension from somewhere inconvenient, or running a generator for a load that does not justify one.
Typical equipment on that list:
Surveying instruments
Total stations, GNSS and GPS rovers and base stations, digital levels, theodolites, laser scanners and their data collectors — plus the spare battery packs that need to be ready for the next shift.
Site IT
Laptops, tablets, site printers and the 4G router the crew works off.
Testing and inspection kit
Concrete and compaction testers, thermal cameras, meters and calibration equipment.
Temporary lighting and small tools
Task lighting and low-draw tools during fit-out and snagging, where a generator would be disproportionate.
These are low-draw devices. For a survey crew the constraint is almost never the manufacturer-published 7,200 W output ceiling — it is the total energy used across a working day, and whether the unit can be recharged overnight or between shifts. That is a different sizing question from running plant, and it is the one we will actually ask you about.
Placement still matters. The manufacturer publishes a 40°C ceiling for both operation and charging, so the unit belongs in a site office, a shaded store or a vehicle that is not standing closed in the sun. For lighting a working area rather than charging equipment, see solar light towers.
Options, specified separately
The following are not included with the unit. Each is specified and quoted on its own, once the load assessment shows whether you need it.
FB5222 expansion battery packs
Up to two may be added, taking manufacturer-published capacity to 15,667.2 Wh. Whether you need one, two or none follows from the load and the recharge opportunity.
Solar panels and mounting
Specified against the manufacturer-published solar input limits and your available area and orientation.
Installation work
Any connection beyond plugging equipment directly into the unit is a separately designed electrical installation, carried out by a licensed electrician under the applicable UAE regulations.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many hours will the FOSSiBOT F7200 run my equipment?
There is no single answer, and any supplier who gives you one without seeing your load is guessing. Runtime depends on the connected load, the starting (inrush) demand of motors and compressors, conversion losses, ambient temperature and the condition of the battery. A 5,222.4 Wh battery does not deliver 5,222.4 Wh of useful work. Harutto Solar carries out a load assessment and gives you a figure based on your actual equipment rather than a headline number.
Can the F7200 back up my whole building?
Harutto Solar does not offer this unit as whole-building backup. The manufacturer publishes a 7,200 W maximum total AC output, which is a ceiling for connected equipment, not a statement about what any particular premises needs. Connecting any battery system to a building distribution board is a separate, separately designed electrical installation that must be carried out by a licensed electrician under the applicable UAE regulations. We do not publish or supply instructions for connecting this unit to building mains.
Will it work in UAE summer conditions?
The manufacturer publishes an operating range of −10°C to 40°C and a charging range of 0°C to 40°C. UAE summer ambient temperatures routinely exceed 40°C, and temperatures inside a vehicle, container or unventilated enclosure go far higher. This unit is therefore intended for shaded, ventilated or climate-controlled placement. Harutto Solar does not present it as suitable for exposed outdoor operation in peak UAE summer conditions, and it is not the same thing as our containerised power systems, which are specified separately for continuous outdoor duty.
What is the electrical configuration — voltage, frequency and socket type?
The manufacturer offers regional variants. Harutto Solar will confirm the voltage, frequency, socket type and individual outlet ratings of the specific variant being offered before those details are quoted or published. We would rather confirm the configuration against your requirement than publish a figure that turns out to describe a different regional model.
Are the expansion batteries and solar panels included?
No. The FB5222 expansion battery packs, solar panels, mounting and any installation work are specified and quoted separately. Which of them you need follows from the load assessment — there is no point quoting expansion capacity before we know what the unit has to run.
Has Harutto Solar tested this unit?
Not yet. Harutto Solar has ordered a unit for its product range. Delivery, inspection and our own performance testing are not yet complete. Every specification on this page is published by FOSSiBOT, the manufacturer, and is labelled as such. Once the unit is received and tested we will publish our own photographs and measured results, clearly distinguished from the manufacturer figures.
Can it charge surveying instruments on a construction site?
That is one of the applications Harutto Solar is offering it for. Total stations, GNSS and GPS rovers, digital levels, data collectors, laser scanners, site tablets and laptops are all low-draw devices compared with power tools, so the limiting factor on a survey crew is rarely the 7,200 W output ceiling — it is total energy across the working day and whether the unit can be recharged between shifts. Tell us which instruments you run and how long the crew is out, and we will assess it against the manufacturer-published capacity rather than quote you an hour figure.
Why not just use a petrol generator on site?
For instrument charging a generator is usually oversized for the load, and it brings fuel handling, noise, exhaust and refuelling trips to site. A battery station runs silently with no emissions at the point of use, which matters inside structures, in occupied areas and where site rules restrict running engines. It is not a like-for-like replacement in every case: a generator runs as long as you keep feeding it, and a battery runs until it is flat. Which is right depends on your duty cycle, and we will say plainly if a generator suits you better.
What is the price and when can it be delivered?
Contact us for availability and a quotation. Harutto Solar does not publish pricing, stock position or delivery dates for this unit, because those depend on the configuration, the variant and current supply conditions at the time of enquiry.
